This afternoon Dan was on-location at All Saint's Episcopal Church capturing the first performance of the newly formed Arizona Bach Festival.

Formaly known as the American Back Festival, the Ariona Bach was origionaly developed as part of the All Saints music programs, has grown well over the past 7 years and has now become its own self sustaining organization.

The first performance featured an Organ Recital by ASU's Dr. Kimberly Marshall playing to a suprisingly well attended audience.

While we have done many recordings at All Saint's in the past, this afternoon proved to make up for the ease of those provious sessions. The usual setup involving the House Microphones would not work due to air blowing directly on them from the air handlers so we went with a pair of our Royer R-122's is a spaced bi-directional config and it yielded one of the best sounds we have ever captured from the All Saints Organ.

....the next performance of the festival will be on January 5th at the Viad Building.
